Business Development Director

We are recruiting for a Business Development Director for our client who is a professional services company.  This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop with this fast growth consultancy which has a portfolio of client solutions that are much in demand in improving employee experience in the workplace. This role will be instrumental in the creation of strategies and lead in the successful sales, marketing and client relationship management of the business.

The Role:

• Develop prospective business and nurture current clients creating and maintaining long term relationships
• Create and complete business development opportunities
• Create the strategic direction for the growth and development of the business
• Be responsible for account management and business marketing
• Build, train, support and manage your team enabling them to deliver against set targets
• Conduct reviews of both internal and external service delivery
• Actively seek introductions, testimonials and networking opportunities
• Full budgetary responsibility for this role

What we are looking for:

• Substantial B2B account management experience
• A record of sales growth
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Gravitas and a flexibility of approach to build relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with efficiency and confidence
• An understanding of the importance of dispute resolution and people development

Location:  Home based

Salary:  £50-70k + Benefits
