European Sales Executive

Our client is a global canning business, Cask Global Canning solutions, family owned  with a great track record of growth, and they are looking for a European Sales Executive to join their entrepreneurial and international team to help continue to generate leads and sales.  This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with this dynamic and successful business on a global scale.

The role:

  • To establish relationships within the European drinks industry identifying where the company could add value
  • Closely cover relevant industry events in order to gain relevant leads and establish call plans
  • Generate demand in specific geographic areas and beverage sectors, initial focus on the UK beer market
  • Actively respond to all incoming enquiries from web to phone – ensuring a prompt response
  • Utilise the company’s extensive database for prospecting
  • Efficiently manage your pipeline of prospects

Ideal Candidate:

  • A background of 3 to 5 years of selling into the drinks industry is clearly an advantage
  • Be able to demonstrate a record of your successful sales background and lead generation ability, within a relevant B2B sector e.g. High Value equipment sales
  • Of graduate calibre
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise as you will not have day to day supervision
  • Able to travel extensively
  • Ideally with European languages and experience of selling across borders
  • Be very organised, as accurate records of your sales pipeline is critical
  • Ability to think outside the box, humour and enthusiasm will play a big part in your success
  • Be prepared to spend a period of 6 -8 weeks in Canada at the start of your employment
  • Be adaptable, and thrive on challenge
  • Web skills are very important

Location:             Home based, occasional travel to Associate office in Luton

Salary:                  c. £35-50K dependent on experience. Stretch bonus and travel costs.
