Senior National Account Manager

Two home based roles working for a growing drinks company, looking to increase their resource and channel focus. As a Senior National Account Manager you would be managing the development of the business within cash & carry, convenience, multiple on trade retail and wholesale accounts.  The portfolio tailored to suit your experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop sales within an agreed list of customer accounts
  • Identify and plan sales within new customer accounts and track volumes
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget for specified customers and account for expenditures within authorised plans
  • Work with customers on the development/execution of promotional activity
  • Analyse sales data from customer data bases
  • Report back to head office and to the breweries
  • Profit responsibility for the channel

Key attributes:

  • Proven account management experience within the specified accounts
  • Product category ideally drinks  but FMCG or food within these channels considered
  • Man management experience useful as the team will grow with sales
  • Self-starter, able to work on own with energy and enthusiasm
  • Confident, good presentational skills, personable
  • Good negotiating skills with senior buyers as well as work on the ground

Salary:             £50-60K
