Regional Sales Manager

An established regional brewer is now seeking experienced field based Regional Sales Managers. This role will be focussed on the Independent Free Trade growing the Birmingham & West Midlands & Cotswolds Regions

As the Account Manager for existing customers you will also be sourcing and negotiating new business deals to ensure you are growing distribution within your region.


Candidate strengths:

• Must have previous sales experience within the drinks industry
• Must have a confident understanding of the On-Trade, and a demonstrable track record of driving sales growth with existing and new customers
• You will be confident and able to build long lasting relationships
• Have a passion for craft and cask beer
• You will be driven and able to work on your own initiative but also be a team player
• You will be a high achiever ensuring you hit those KPI’s within a challenging and fast paced environment
• You will be a confident negotiator and be comfortable analysing data

Competitive salary up to £45,000

OOur client is a highly successful sports drinks company who are looking for a dynamic Head of Sales to join the team and drive the business through the next growth phase. You will create and deliver the sales strategy across the company’s key focus areas. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business.

The role:

• Create a commercial sales strategy covering major retailers, wholesale & convenience, E- commerce and export markets
• Develop and own the sales forecast across all channels
• Nurture and grow the company’s key commercial relationships
• Produce monthly and quarterly internal reports
• Work closely with other departments and lead collaboration across all teams ensuring consistency with brand delivery
• Achieve ambitious KPIs

Candidate Criteria:

• 4 + years of proven success in sales roles with major brands in the food and beverage industry
• Have a strong understanding of health and wellness trends
• Be able to think creatively and strategically with a growth mindset
• Grow and support a multi channel sales team
• Be a strong negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of commercial and office software

Location:
The main office is in Essex but hybrid working is available
Salary:
£90-110K + excellent company benefits
